Yo, Trump, stop making us pay for your expensive shit while you cut important programs

On Thursday, President Cheeto released a $1.1 trillion budget outline that pays for another $54 billion in military spending by eliminating or cutting dozens of crucial programs that have long been Republican punching bags. Proposed reductions include a 31 percent cut to the Environmental Protection Agency, a 20 percent cut to the National Institutes of Health, and full defunding of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Minority Business Development Agency, the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, the Senior Community Service Employment Program, the Community Development Block Grant program, and the Legal Services Corporation (which exists solely to help low-income families obtain legal counsel by providing grants to more than 130 independent legal aid organizations).

These programs specifically serve public health, the poor and the needy, but who cares if they don't make Cheeto's friends any money? Both ABC and NBC’s evening news programs on Thursday mentioned that, in addition to the poor, those suffering from cancer would be hurt the most by the cuts.

Meanthefuckwhile, on top of the dozens of millions spent on security for the First Lady and their son, Barron, who remain in New York City even though there is a whole entire infrastructure in D.C. for protecting First Families, Christopher Ingraham of The Washington Post calculates that, after this weekend, Trump will have spent the equivalent of 2.3 million meals for needy seniors just on golf trips to Mar-A-Lago:

No need to be concerned with low-lifes when living the high-life.

Other journalists on Twitter were no less apoplectic:

These proposed cuts come after Trump's continued push for a $15 to $25 billion ridiculous and pointless Mexico wall.

Shout out to all the "give Trump a chance" folks. Have a great final tax season before this shit hits!
