The oOohh Baby Gimme Mores Change Direction for XMas

Call it a definite post stocking stuffer...or fifth day of Kwanzaa gift, but what a treat it was to see the release of Canadian duo, The oOohh Baby Gimmie Mores, mixtape come out this week.  We haven't heard from the guys, Denzil and Cola in a while, since releasing their first album, Interchorus, back in 2008, when they also booked the Afro-punk 2009 summer festival.  The new mixtape, Christmas Bag, is completely different from the heavy chords and punk sound we're familiar with from Interchorus.  To promo Christmas Bag, the guys said "We're not just Afro-punk," as many of the tracks have heavy hip hop beats with tracks called Spliff a Day (which is soooo chill) and My Nikes.  You can download Christmas Bag for free, here, and let us know what you think about the new hip-hop OBGM's sound.
