"The Concerto" by The ZYG 808 Drops July 25th

New debut single by Hip-hop Jazz artist, The ZYG 808 goes live on iTunes, Spotify and other streaming and download services Wednesday, July 25th.

Bronx, NY - Gaining much positive attention from reviewers, club and podcast DJs, "The Concerto" by The ZYG 808 is poised to go live on streaming and download music services this coming Wednesday. The day of the release, The ZYG 808 will be on the road with The GroovaLottos and The Phunk Hits 2018 summer tour where The ZYG 808 has been building a steady, grassroots following with his show stopping performances of rapping and drumming at the same time.

A stand-out from many of today's hip-hop artists, The ZYG 808 is often compared to MC's of the golden age, when lyrical phrasing and beats where the dominant driving forces of hip-hop. "I hear him, I think of Rakim, A Tribe Called Quest, and The Roots..." said radio host Jonathan Coleman.

The ZYG 808 has had a busy summer between the tour, recording follow-ups to his debut single as well a filming a music video for "The Concerto". This week the tour will be making stops in New York City with park concerts in Union Square Park as well as the Freshen Up Friday On The Hudson on July 27 at the 125th Street Pier in  Harlem at 7pm.
