In Quique Rivera's latest photography series, viewers are taken back in time- with a modern twist. Titled: '90's Summer Daze', the subtly dynamic series pays homage to the era of intentional laxity, while simultaneously adding a 'too cool for school' vibe with its femininely suggestive interpretation of a Tomboy. Rivera's utilization of the models' powerful Afro's and beautiful brown skin, adds another layer of cultural pride, serving as an underline to the already intriguing visuals. A youthful, nostalgic project, viewers are given an excitingly sentimental glimpse at adolescence- wishing they were in the subjects' shoes. Check out more of '90's Summer Daze' below.
